Device has a contact unit constituted by an elastic bar (15) presenting a section (16) provided with a rectilinear part (16a). The part extends transversal to an axis of a battery terminal (4) and is supported against an edge of the terminal, when a battery cable terminal is engaged on a corresponding screw (9). The part is supported against an upper surface of the terminal (4), when the corresponding nut (10) is tightened.
