The proposed parallel optical analog-to-digital converter contains a reference voltage source, a decoder, and comparators. The inverting inputs of the comparators are connected to the input of the converter, the noninverting inputs are connected to the reference voltage source, and the outputs are connected to the corresponding inputs of the decoder. The input of the converter is connected to the signal source via an optical line. The reference voltage source contains a microwave oscillator. Each comparator contains a photodetector and an inductance coil that form an oscillatory circuit that is adjusted for a resonance frequency that differs from the resonance frequencies of the other comparators. |
