The invention relates to technologies of pressure metals treatment. A method for ultrasonic impact treatment of welded joints comprises delivery of forced oscillations of ultrasonic frequency through transducer to impact elements and influence on the treated surface of material by impact elements at a specified amplitude of displacement, delivery of cavitation medium to the point of treatment, making discharge grooves, which encompass the near-weld zone of welded joint along the weld, by plastic strain. The invention increases strength and working life of welded joints.
