The process of recovery of light fractions of hydrocarbons is performed through compression in one or several stages of compressor, cooling in intermediate heat exchangers after each stage of compression, separation, drying, cooling in recuperation heat exchanger, separation, expansion and supply to the same heat exchanger in direction of counter-flow. The flow before compression is separated into two flows, one of those is compressed in compressor, and the other flow is supplied to chambers of rotary drum with compression by compression waves, it is combined with the first flow, cooled, separated, dried, cooled in recuperation heat exchanger, and then it is supplied to the channels of the same drum, with formation of rarefaction waves expanding the flow and compression waves.
