The proposed method for advertising goods and services on a screen of a video information system, which is installed in a lift car, consists in demonstrating the advertisements, after pressing the button for selecting the floor by the passenger, for the period between the start of the lift car movement to the stop at the selected floor. The said period is determined as a function of the lift car velocity and the number of floors. Within intervals between the advertisements, neutral information is displayed.
