DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURE OF THIN-WALLED BENT PROFILES

A device for manufacture of thin-walled bent profiles contains a stand for displacing the billet and a unit for molding by drawing. The unit contains guiding elements for fixation of the plane of billet on the passes during shaping. Guiding elements for fixation of the plane of billet on the passes during molding by drawing are executed in the form of consecutively fixed lengthwise the block for molding by drawing non-driven cylindrical upper and lower fixing rolls. Unit for molding by drawing contains a shaping element with spiral external working surface, which with upper fixing rolls forms the passes for bending of the element of profile on the passes and provides for during bending the displacement of the points of the edge of bent element practically along helical curve on the area of main passage from flat billet to finished profile.
