A showerhead extension arm comprising a generally tubular body portion, firs t and second hub members, a showerhead engaging portion and a shower arm coupling. The tubular body portion has an internal passageway to permit the flow of fluid therethrough. The first hub member is rotationally secured to a first end of the tubular body portion and the second hub member is rotationally secured to a second end of the tubular body portion. Each of the hub members permit the flow of fluid therethrough. The showerhead engaging portion is rotationally secured to the first hub member and permits the showerhead extension arm to be secured to a showerhead. The shower arm coupling is rotationally secured to the second hub member and releasably secures the extension arm to a water supply conduit such that water from the conduit is permitted to flow through the shower arm coupling, through the second hub member, through the tubular body portion, through the first hub member, through the showerhead engaging portion and into the shower head.
