The automatic gearbox uses an electric motor in order to operate the gear change. The electric motor is controlled in order to apply a synchronous force, by use of a precisely timed synchronous control voltage. The procedure for effecting synchronisation within a gearbox, especially an automatic gearbox, uses an electric motor in order to operate the gear change. The electric motor is controlled in order to apply a synchronous force. At least one synchronous voltage, adjusted to the synchronous force, is applied to the electric motor. With reference to the synchronous voltage, a value is used which lies below that which is necessary for application of the synchronous force. The synchronous voltage is applied at a predetermined moment before or after the point of synchronisation is attained. The necessary force is attained with precision, and the voltage is maintained for a given time interval. |
