The sleeve has two half-shells (4, 5) assembled one against the other to surround electric cables (1, 2) and a connector (3), where the sleeve is filled entirely with a pasty material or dielectric gel. The half-shells have opposite ends (6, 7) with sealed passages (8, 9) for the cables. Axially spaced tubular units (11) arranged on a wall of the half-shell (4) is opened towards interior of the sleeve. Pistons (12) are displaced in the units under the action of an operation unit e.g. screw system, accessible outside the sleeve.
