<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device which improves confidentiality and manageabilty to a paper medium and automates management to the paper medium which is left to a user's manual operation. <P>SOLUTION: It is difficult to automatically determine whether a paper medium, to which a document is outputted, is to be torn to pieces and thrown away or to be stored when the paper medium is managed. So, an image-forming device is constituted so that it may have a mechanism which prints or embeds management codes on a paper medium, receives information indicating whether a paper medium to which the management codes are added is torn to pieces and thrown away from a shredder device via a network, and manages the paper medium with the management codes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
