摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus quickly manufacturing an optical device. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus includes;a holding unit that holds a color-combining optical device; a 6-axis position adjuster 30 that adjusts the position of an optical modulator, a dimension-measuring unit 60 that measures an external dimension of the color-combining optical device in an optical-axis direction; and a controlling unit 73 that drives the 6-axis position adjuster 30. The controlling unit 73 includes; a deviation-amount calculating unit 735A that calculates a deviation amount of an optical path length of a light beam from the optical modulator to a projection optical device when the color-combining optical device is interposed between the optical modulator and the projection optical device, on the basis of the external dimension measured by the dimension-measuring unit 60; a back-focus-position calculating unit 735B that calculates a back-focus position of the projection optical device in correspondence with a deviation of the optical path length based on the distance information on the back-focus distance and the deviation amount of the optical path length; and a drive controller 733 that drives the 6-axis position adjuster 30 and positions the optical modulator at the back-focus position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
