PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sound collecting apparatus capable of avoiding recording of operation sound, without causing rise in cost and complicated operations, and to provide a photographic apparatus. SOLUTION: In driving a zoom motor 22A and simultaneously collecting sound signals by a sound signal processor 66, a CPU 40 controls the zoom motor 22A and the processor 66 so that these operations can be performed in time division.
