PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that can automatically search the video signals of a motion pictures with a video camera for a typical frame. SOLUTION: An object image is subject to photoelectric conversion by an imaging device 1 and white balancing and AGC processing by a signal processing circuit 2, and the resulting signal is supplied to a multiplexing circuit 6 as a video signal. The white balance color temperature set in signal processing, AGC gain, hand movement speed detected from picture imaged, electronic zoom on/off information and electronic zoom magnification are supplied to an operation information capture circuit 5 as operation information for signal processing. In addition, information on switch 3 operations by photographers and signals, sensed by the sensor circuit 4, are supplied to the above operation information acquisition circuit 5.
