<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for offering and receiving video service by digital audio broadcast, and its equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The method for offering a video service by the digital audio broadcast is featured by including the following steps: (a) a step for including the information about encoding and the information about packetizing of a video service stream to be offered into a channel different from a service data channel, and (b) a step for multiplexing the included information about encoding and information about packetizing of a video service into a transmission frame of a digital audio broadcast, and for transmitting it. Thereby, although the receiving set of the digital audio broadcast is different from each other, since the video service can be processed systematically, it is efficient from view point of receiver embodiment for the digital audio broadcast relevant to the video service processing and control of a receiver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
