<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage converter system which protects an overvoltage generated at a low voltage side of a voltage converter when the voltage converter starts a voltage-fall operation from an operation suspended state. <P>SOLUTION: In the voltage converter system, when a predetermined malfunction is caused, a controller 30 suspends an operation of a voltage-rise converter 10 (S20). When a malfunction state is dissolved (YES in S40), the controller 30 verifies whether a voltage VH at a high-voltage side (a side of an inverter 20) of the voltage-rise converter 10 is lower than a breakdown voltage of components for equipment connected to the low voltage side (a B side of a battery) of the voltage-rise converter 10 (S60), then after the voltage VH becomes lower than the breakdown voltage of the components, suspension of the operation of the voltage-rise converter 10 is released (S70). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
