<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus 100 constituted so that a second display module 20 of passive drive method is stacked on a first display module 10 of active drive method, and to effectively use high-speed drawing property of the first display module 10 and display holding property of the second display module 20. <P>SOLUTION: When starting display of characters, drawing is performed by the first display module 10 and the whole area of the second display module is made to be in transmissive state (step S1, S2). After the first display module 10 performs drawing, the same content as the content drawn by the first display module 10 is drawn by the second display module 20 and the area of the first display module 10 corresponding to the lines drawn by the second display module 20 is made black (step S3). After the second display module 20 draws all the lines, liquid crystal driving of and power supply to the first display module 10 is turned off (step S5) in such a state that all the area corresponding to the lines is drawn in black, and liquid crystal driving of and power supply to the second display module 20 is turned off (step S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
