PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a program guide including the recording content over a network. SOLUTION: A video signal processor 211 extracts program guide data from a received signal of a prescribed channel supplied from a tuner 210, and supplies them to a control unit 203. The control unit 203 acquires recording content data showing a list of the recording contents recorded with each recording device 400 connected by the network or the like via an external input control unit 240. The control unit 203 generates display data for displaying the program guide, including the recording contents on the basis of the program guide data and the recording content data and supplies them to an overlay graphic processor 204. A video output processor 213 supplies a composite video signal, generated by superposing a video signal corresponding to the display data from the overlay graphic processor 204 on that of from the video signal processor 211 to a display unit 220.
