PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption by reducing a heat leakage quantity of a refrigerator body, while preventing strain of an outer box or a crack of an inner box by restraining local contraction of a urethane foam resin in a corner part, in a refrigerator. SOLUTION: This refrigerator has a thermal insulation wall for arranging a plurality of vacuum thermal insulation panels in a space composed of the inner box 1 and the outer box 2 and filled with the urethane foam resin 4. The vacuum thermal insulation panels are composed of an outer box side vacuum thermal insulation panel 3a arranged on an outer box surface and an inner box side vacuum thermal insulation panel 3b arranged on an inner box surface. The outer box side vacuum thermal insulation panel 3a extends up to the vicinity of an outer box corner part 2e. The inner box side thermal insulation panel 3b arranged on an inner box surface 1a opposed to the outer box surface adjacent to an installation surface of the outer box side vacuum thermal insulation panel 3a, further extends along an inner box surface 1b up to a position overlapping with a plane of projection of the outer box side vacuum thermal insulation panel 3a by covering an inner box corner part 1e opposed to the outer box corner part 2e.
