PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise storage device capable of guiding thrown-in merchandise to a merchandise storage path with its desired posture kept as it is. SOLUTION: This merchandise storage device 20 configured by arranging a back and forth, a plurality of merchandise storage units (21, 22 and 23) provided with merchandise storage paths L extending vertically to sequentially store merchandise and merchandise guiding boards (61, 62 and 63) gradually inclined down toward upper regions of the merchandise storage paths L to guide merchandise to the merchandise storage paths L in the form that corresponding merchandise guiding boards mutually continue is provided with a position regulating means for regulating the rear edge part of the merchandise guiding board of a merchandise storage unit located ahead so as to be always higher than the front edge part of the merchandise guiding board located behind between the adjacent merchandise storage units horizontally in the deep direction.
