PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for automatically preparing a liquid, by which the liquid such as an overprint varnish can be formed in a short time. SOLUTION: This system for automatically preparing a liquid which is coated on the upper layer of a printed article to obtain a transparent surface-processing material for imparting gloss to the surface of the printed article and protect the printed layer such as a pattern is characterized by having a process (3a) for preliminarily registering the data (1) of the mixing ratio, gloss performance and slipping performance of raw materials in the computer of a control portion 3 and a process (4) for inputting (3c) desired gloss performance and slipping performance to automatically weigh and mix two or more raw materials on the basis of the control portion.
