PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-shaped groove machining device having twin tool posts and twin clamps and its method capable of reducing production cost and efficiently utilizing an expensive machining device. SOLUTION: Setting blocks are opposedly provided respectively on the both sides of the longitudinal direction of a bed of a V-shaped groove machining device, and side clamps continuously formed in the longitudinal direction are provided on these setting blocks. A pair of front clamps is provided on one side of the bed, and the front clamps are screwed with a clamp travel screw having screw threads in both directions and can be simultaneously moved. A pair of tool posts are separately mounted to a carriage of the V-shaped groove machining device, the tool posts having the screw threads in both directions are separately mounted to the carriage of the V-shaped groove machining device, and the tool posts are mounted to a tool post travel screw having the screw threads in both directions to simultaneously come close to or separate from with the same width of the front clamp.
