PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device, of which the storability and portability are improved by integrating a game board and pieces, permits play during movement, varies the way of playing, and realizes a plurality of ways of playing by one tool. SOLUTION: The game device 1 for goban is composed of a cubic housing 2 and a plurality of pieces 4 arranged in the housing 2. The housing 2 has a plurality of openings 7 formed in the shape of a matrix, totaling to M×N (both M and N are integers of 2 or larger). At least two or more of the pieces 4 have a plurality of identifiable protruding portions 4b, and at least one protruding portion 4b from among the protrusions 4b is arranged so as to be identifiably exposed from the opening 7 of the housing 2.
