<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptor for thermal transfer recording which can form a transfer image with excellent solvent resistance and friction resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the receptor for thermal transfer recording formed of an under layer and a receptive layer sequentially laminated on a support made of a plastic film, the under layer contains an ultraviolet curing resin and a pigment, and the receptive layer contains a polyethylene imine derivative, a salt of an ethylene/methacrylic acid copolymer and a crosslinking agent.
