<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline battery that is provided with a negative electrode having zinc particles or zinc alloy particles, and which is excellent in load characteristics and safety. <P>SOLUTION: This is the alkaline battery that is provided with the negative electrode having the zinc particles or the zinc alloy particles and with a sealing body made of a resin having an explosion-proof thin-walled part. A rate in which the zinc particles or the zinc alloy particles possessed by the negative electrode can pass through a sieve with a sieve opening of 200 mesh is 20 to 80 wt% while all of them can pass through the sieve with the sieve opening of 80 mesh. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
