<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image quality correction function of a color copying machine having a slip-sheet function while improving productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The class (S10) of output paper, the class (S12) of a divider, and a tab position (S14) are respectively discriminated. Whether the divider is ought to be subjected to image formation processing or not (S20) and the place of a non-image region are discriminated (S22). If, in the case of insertion of the divider between a plurality of sets, the non-image region exists in the divider in a job where the sets exist, a test pattern relating to image quality correction, such as image adjustment and alignment, is generated/outputted by using the non-image region (S30), but the transfer to the output paper is prohibited (S32).
