<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial light emitting apparatus with a light emitting part emitting light which is like that of a specified light emitting organism such as a firefly and provided with a light emitting part in which the state of light emission is easily viewed from outside. <P>SOLUTION: The artificial light emitting apparatus has an extended diameter part 30 of a trumpet shape with its outer diameter made continuously larger going to the side of a tip part in the tip part of an optical fiber 5. The extended part 30 is fixed to a surface of a main body part 14 in a tip surface 32. Since the extended diameter part 30 is formed by plastic deformation (thermal deformation) to be opened up in the trumpet shape, refraction of light (that is an optical path) is varied in the extended part 30 due to the deformation (distortion). The light from a light emitting diode 7 is leaked outside from an outer periphery surface 31 side of the extended diameter part 30 and light is emitted in a way that is like the firefly in the outer periphery surface 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
