PATH TRANSITION UNDERSTANDING DEVICE, METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the number of paths through which an AS receiving transit service is performing path advertisement to other AS.

SOLUTION: The path transition understanding device 3a counts the AS number of a monitor object AS or the AS number adjacent to the left side of the AS number of an AS to which a monitor object path belongs for each path with reference to AS_PATH attribute included in path information collected at a path information collecting place, calculates the number of paths used for advertising from the monitor object AS or an AS to which the monitor object path belongs to other AS for each AS, reads out the number of paths stored in a data storage section 10a in response to display request for each AS number, and displays transition of the number of paths to a display section 11a in time series for each AS number.
