PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus which can be small-sized, and electronic equipment comprising the same. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus comprises an imaging device package 1 including an imaging device 1a, a guide shaft 3 extending in an optical axis direction of a lens, a lens holder 4 which is engaged with the guide shaft 3 and holds the lens, and a lens driving unit for driving the lens holder 4 in the optical axis direction, wherein the guide shaft 3 is disposed on an area, excepting for a photographing area, within the imaging device package 1. Thus, a lens guide mechanism can be small-sized without being affected by the size of the imaging device package 1, so that the solid-state imaging apparatus 100 can be small-sized as a result.
