PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in the case of transmitting and receiving setting information between imaging devices. SOLUTION: The imaging device for imaging a subject is provided with a communication part 13 for communicating with an external device, a photographing condition setter 8 for setting a photographing condition of the imaging device based on setting information received by the communication part, a mode setter 8 for setting an operation mode of the imaging device, and a control unit 8 for controlling the communication part so as to receive the setting information when the operation mode of the imaging device set by the mode setter is a mode set in advance.
