PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material recording a composite image of a silver image and a color image different from each other in image information, particularly to provide a heat developable photosensitive material forming a composite image useful as a medical diagnostic image. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has on a support at least two image forming layers comprising: at least a photosensitive silver halide; a non-photosensitive organic silver salt; a reducing agent for silver ions; and a binder, wherein the image forming layers have mutually different color sensitivities, at least one of the image forming layers is an image forming layer forming an image consisting substantially of a silver image, and at least another one of the image forming layers is an image forming layer containing a color image forming material and forming a color image.
