PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developing device providing stable image quality without causing nonuniform rotation of a developing roller and anilox roller. SOLUTION: In the liquid developing device, the developing roller 52 and the anilox roller 53 are disposed in contact with each other via an application area P under a predetermined contact pressure applied by a coil spring, and a gear 122 for inputting drive force to the anilox roller 53 is provided. The anilox roller 53 is rotated by drive force inputted from the gear 122, and the developing roller 52 is rotated by the contact of the anilox roller via the application area P.
