PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developing device bringing a developing roller and an anilox roller into contact with each other under constant pressure, accurately regulating the width of a nip between a developing roller and the anilox roller, and forming an appropriately thin layer of liquid developer, thereby preventing a fault in image quality. SOLUTION: Non-pattern parts UP are provided on the surfaces of both ends of the anilox roller 53. The diameter of each of the non-pattern parts UP is made larger than the diameter of a pattern part P.
