PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave measuring instrument for quantifying the effect of countermeasures correlating with a remote region by finding the sum of strength distribution data excluding lower limit data at measurement bounds to display a difference in its values before and after the countermeasures. SOLUTION: This instrument for measuring the strength distribution of an electric field and magnetic field in the vicinity of an electronic apparatus, comprises a means for: capturing lower limit data at measurement bounds on strength measurement; further capturing measurement coordinates and measured strength data on the electric field and magnetic field at the measurement coordinates; comparing the size of the lower limit data at the measurement bounds with that of the strength data on the electric and magnetic fields; performing addition only on data in which the strength data on the electric and magnetic fields are larger than the lower limit data at the measurement bounds; and displaying strength distribution data and addition data to make it possible to perform comparison before and after the countermeasures.
