PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cold water of the sufficiently cooled proper temperature, in a refrigerator having a cold water supply device having a water storage tank inside a door of a refrigerating chamber. SOLUTION: This refrigerator has the cold water supply device 105 having the water storage tank 106 inside the door 104 of the refrigerating chamber 102, positions a delivery port 116 of a shelf inside duct 115 on an upper surface of the water storage tank 106, and increases the area for exchanging heat by contacting its cold air with a water storage tank outside surface by sufficiently securing the cold air volume convecting in the door shelf vicinity by having a temperature detecting means 117 for detecting the water temperature in the water storage tank 106; and can also lower the water temperature in the water storage tank to the proper temperature by stopping cooling by the temperature detecting means for detecting the water temperature of the water storage tank when the water temperature of the water storage tank is supercooled.
