PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material capable of storing heat from the outside while using a solid material. SOLUTION: The building material used indoors is formed by impregnating a chemical solution in wood. The wood is formed of a solid material and comprises indoor side exposed surfaces 2a, 3a. The chemical solution includes a latent heat type heat storage agent. Polyethylene glycol is used as the latent heat type heat storage agent.
