PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ventilate the inside of a cabin by an inexpensive constitution before an occupant boarding. SOLUTION: The ventilation system for the vehicle is provided with a battery cooling fan 5 for blowing air to a battery chamber 2 to cool the battery 1; a fist ventilation port 4 for communicating the battery chamber 2 with the outside of the cabin; a second ventilation port 12 provided in a different direction from the first ventilation port 4; a determination means 20 for determining necessity of ventilation in the cabin before getting on of the occupant; and ventilation control means 20, 22 for driving the cooling fan 5 when it is determined by the determination means 20 that ventilation is required and ventilating the inside of the cabin through the first ventilation port 4 and the second ventilation port 12.
