<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve appropriate access by separating VPN (Virtual Private Network) traffic from other traffics based on network prefix. <P>SOLUTION: The VPN apparatus comprises a VPN protocol dependent processing section 211 for acquiring a network prefix message concerning determination of a VPN prefix, i. e. a network prefix for use in VPN communication, from a message received from the VPN apparatus of a connection partner, a prefix processing section 212 for determining a VPN prefix by transmitting/receiving a message to/from the connection partner, a router advertisement processing section 240 for distributing a VPN prefix thus determined into a network 104 by router advertisement (RA), and a packet filter section 231 for altering packet filter setting based on the VPN prefix. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
