PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of registering terminal information such as a telephone number or the like to a telephone directory with a simple operation. SOLUTION: The communication equipment is provided with: a terminal information notice means for informing an opposite equipment about the terminal information of its own equipment; an information reception means for receiving prescribed information from the opposite equipment; and a communication control means that controls stop of communication thereafter when the terminal information notice means informs the opposite equipment about the terminal information of its own equipment and the information reception means receives the prescribed information from the opposite equipment.
