PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the abnormal processing of interrupt flag clearing by software and recover normal processing when asserting a single interrupt signal with a plurality of interrupt factors in CPU interrupt handling. SOLUTION: An interrupt control method employs a CPU, at least one interrupt signal generation means to the CPU, an interrupt assertion means for producing the OR of a plurality of interrupt factors for assertion, interrupt acknowledgement flags for the plurality of respective factors, a means allowed only to write a de-assertion state, a holding means for holding an interrupt history of the interrupt means during a predetermined interrupt event or for a predetermined time, a simultaneous flag clearing detection means for detecting the simultaneous clearing of a plurality of interrupt flags, a simultaneous flag clearing notification means for notifying the clearing to the CPU, and an interrupt history reference means.
