PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal line driving circuit and a display device provided with the same, which are capable of displaying an image so that an inspector doesn't or hardly fail in abnormality detection of gradation display. SOLUTION: A selector part 310 included in an image signal line driving circuit 300 includes a plurality of selector circuits provided correspondingly to respective stages of a shift register part 301 and outputs a level shifter signal Ds received from a level shifter part 303 as digital data signal Dp as it is without changing or performs a conversion operation of inverting the bit sequence and then outputs a converted signal as the digital data signal Dp, on the basis of a prescribed control signal TEST from a display control circuit 200. The selector part 310 is capable of intensifying and displaying a change of display gradation by the conversion operation when abnormality of gradation display which is caused on a display image by lack or error of digital data is inspected, whereby the inspector doesn't fail in inspection.
