PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material which has high sensitivity and is improved in fogging due to oxygen during storage. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has on a support at least one each of blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers and at least one non-photosensitive layer, contains a compound selected from the following types 1 and 2 in at least one layer, and also contains the following compound (A) in at least one layer. (Type 1): a compound of which one-electron oxidized derivative produced by one electron oxidation of the compound can release one or more electrons with a subsequent bond cleavage. (Type 2): a compound of which one-electron oxidized derivative produced by one electron oxidation of the compound can release one or more electrons after a subsequent bond formation reaction. Compound (A): (i) an oxadiazole derivative, (ii) a thiadiazole derivative or (iii) a 1,2,4-triazole derivative having an amide group, has ClogP enough to increase sensitivity, and does not react with an oxidized derivative of a developing agent.
