PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the electrostatic shielding performance of a remote controller photoreceiver per se without deteriorating the receiving performance of the photoreceptive portion for optical signals. SOLUTION: Each end of lead pins 31, 32, 33 led out from a resin mold 2 is passed through a perforation in a wiring board 100 and soldered at the rear face of the wiring board 100. A leg 41 of a metal chassis 4 for holding the resin mold 2 is installed upright on the wiring board 100, and the terminal 41a of the leg 41 is passed through a perforation in the wiring board 100 and soldered at the rear face thereof. The whole of the exposed portions of the resin mold 2, the lead pins 31, 32, 33, and the metal chassis 4 in the surface of the wiring board 200 is covered with a light-transmissive resin layer 5.
