摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use residual excitation light power, while securing stable operation of an exciting light source, and to enhance a conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: This arrangement comprises a first means which diverges an excitation light power into n:1 (n is a real number of 1 or larger) by a light divergence part 23, combines waves of excitation lights of one port of the light divergence part 23 by a first optical coupler 24-1, and enters them into one rare-earth doped fiber 21-1 of a first rare-earth doped fiber 21-1 and a second rare-earth doped fiber 21-2; a second means which is connected to the other end of the rare-earth doped fiber 21-1 to extract the residual excitation power by a second optical coupler 24-2, combines waves by a third optical coupler 24-3, and enters them from one end of the other rare-earth doped fiber 21-2; and a third means for combining waves of the excitation power of the other port, diverged by the light divergence part 23 from the other end of the rare-earth doped fiber 21-2 by a fourth optical coupler 24-4.
