PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan coil unit for compactly constituting a whole device, by preventing creep deformation of only one side surface of a synthetic resin cross flow fan. SOLUTION: This fan coil unit 1 has a heat exchanger 9, the resin cylindrical cross flow fan 10 and a control means 11a for controlling operation of the heat exchanger 9 and the cross flow fan 10. The control means 11a controls the operation so as to rotate the cross flow fan 10 at a low speed or intermittently in an operation state of exchanging heat between a heating medium and indoor air by the heat exchanger 9 by natural convection by stopping air-blowing of the indoor air by the cross flow fan 10, to thereby prevent warping of the cross flow fan 10 by the creep deformation without heating one place of the cross flow fan 10.
