PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an absorber capable of preventing a high absorbing polymer from falling off from front/rear end edges of the absorber. SOLUTION: This is the method of manufacturing the absorber 1 with an adhesive 4 applied on the surface of the whole area of a nonwoven fabric facing one side of an absorbent core 2. The adhesive is applied only on the surface of an area corresponding to the front/rear ends of the absorber 1 on the area of the nonwoven fabric facing the other side of the absorbent core 2. An absorber continuous body 6 is manufactured with long objects as the absorbent core 2 and the nonwoven fabric, and the continuous body 6 is cut at prescribed intervals in the cross direction, and the cut part is sealed.
