PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody roof structure finished with a waterproof sheet having a stable high quality capable of being constructed by a unit construction method by realizing mass-production of structural members in a factory, wherein the roof structure can be constructed in a short term of construction work, is free from a step produced by overlapping of waterproof sheets and can be flatly finished in an excellent appearance. SOLUTION: At least one end of an upper woody board 2 placed on a woody lower board 1 is shifted to the inner side from the side end of the lower board, and the board 2 and the board 1 are integrated to form a laminate. A waterproof sheet 3 formed in a size equivalent to or a little larger than the size of the bottom board 1 is stretched and bonded integrally on the surface of the upper board 2 to constitute a stepped panel B. The two stepped panels are set to abut each other and secured on a joist A, and a joint panel C having a waterproof sheet 5 bonded on its surface is disposed on the lower boards 1 between the abutting stepped panels 2 and 2. The joint panel is secured on the lower boards of the stepped panels, and then the periphery 3a of the water proof sheet 3 of the stepped panels is welded to the waterproof sheet 5 of the joint panel C.
