<p>A home device monitoring system (10) for interacting with a primary user located within a residence including one or more source modules (12) provided throughout the residence, the source modules (12) being adapted to gather one or more source inputs concerning the conditions within the residence. One or more input modules (14) are provided to the primary user and located throughout the residence. The input modules (14) being adapted to receive one or more user inputs from the primary user, wherein the user inputs are requests for one or more outputs received from the primary user. A central processing module (16) communicating with the source modules (12) and the inputs modules (14), wherein the central processing module (16) is programmed to analyse the source inputs and the user inputs, and wherein the central processing module is further programmed to dynamically generate outputs based on the conditions within the residence and the requests from the primary user. The output modules (18) are provided throughout the residence and being adapted to perform and communicate the outputs for the primary user. A method for monitoring personal devices and interacting with a primary user located within a residence including the steps of receiving source inputs concerning the conditions within the residence, receiving user inputs from the primary user, analysing and interpreting the source inputs and the user inputs, retrieving one or more historical outputs from a database (38) that were previously communicated to the primary user generally concerning the source inputs and the user inputs, and dynamically generating one or more outputs concerning the source inputs and the user inputs.</p> |
