HOOF ABSCESS ABSORBING POUCH

A method and an apparatus used for healing an abscess or the like on the hoof of an animal. The method comprises positioning a drying agent with a pouch having a porous region and aligning the porous region of the pouch at a proximate location to the abscess. The pouch is then withheld in a retaining device for a period of time against the abscess so as to dry it thoroughly and to provide antimicrobial properties to facilitate the healing process.
