PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage-controlled oscillator capable of supplying an auxiliary current of a value as designed independently of a power supply voltage. SOLUTION: The voltage-controlled oscillator that carries out an oscillation operation with a frequency in response to a control voltage includes: a voltage current conversion circuit for converting the control voltage VIN into a control current in response to the voltage; and a ring oscillator 200 to which an operating current corresponding to the control current produced by the voltage current conversion circuit is supplied and that is oscillated at a frequency in response to the operating current, and the voltage current conversion circuit includes: a voltage-voltage conversion circuit 100 for receiving the control voltage VIN and converting the control voltage into the control current; and an offset current generating circuit 500 for attaching a constant current to the control current.
