<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image capable of forming a high quality image by readily suppressing conventional deterioration in an image, while a high density light emitting device such as an organic EL device or the like is used as a light writing means of an image forming apparatus and a light writing section exists as prescribed plane information so that even when omission of several dots or variation occurs in an image at random, it can be ignored as deterioration of the image which is not visually judged, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed a method for forming an image wherein a photosensitive body belt 11 having a photosensitive layer 11b provided on a high density light emitting device substrate 11a is used. A latent image is formed on the photosensitive body belt 11 by controlling the light of the light emitting device 15.
